For our tour in April 2015, the more old-school country venues or bars expected 3-hour sets. At best, we had 45 minutes of material. Here's where cover songs are critical to making a tour work! Altogether, we built a set of over 40 songs. In addition to our originals, we learned 20+ covers, drawing from country classics (Terry Allen, George Strait, John Prine) and twang-ified rocknroll jams (Morphine, Quasi, Green on Red). We wanted to learn songs that we could play and enjoy night after night.

The album was recorded live in a studio in Eagle Rock, CA over a weekend at the end of 2015 by Dan Long.
